As time passes, there are distinct features on earth likely to change. It is yet determined to find whether these changes are necessarily good or bad.

Even with positive impacts, the earth has been negatively affected by the issue of climate change. With climate change becoming a serious issue, it is detrimental to inform individuals regarding climate change. states climate change to be, “a long-term change in the earth’s climate, especially a change due to an increase in the average atmospheric temperature.”

In NASA’s article, “Arctic Ice Melt Is Changing Ocean Currents”  “[the ocean current is] faster and more turbulent as a result of rapid sea ice melt.” This effect is caused because of an individual’s usage on earth. An individual’s usage of driving cars to many areas significantly increases the negative impacts on earth. The usage also consists of the use of fossil fuels to provide the toys and plastic packaging storage. The items that individuals use every day contain chemicals that are then released into the air all around us; furthermore, resulting in the mass production of climate change.

Another article from NASA “The Causes Of Climate Change” states, ” [That] on earth, human activities are changing the natural greenhouse. Over the last century, the burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil has increased the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide.” Individuals may believe that the environment will not be harmed by the common usage of materials. With many being a consumerist, the earth is destined to be destroyed in the future. Humans need to limit spending our resources to create a brighter future environmentally.

An article according to a study in CNN “US Cities Are Losing 36 Million Trees A Year. Here’s Why It Matters and How You Can Stop It” states, “trees can lower summer daytime temperatures by as much as 10 degrees Fahrenheit.” This is a major beneficial impact on a consumerist’s lifestyle. The consideration of this beneficiary should gradually increase because plants absorb carbon dioxide and remove some pollution from the atmosphere and trees are planted. An article from CNN “US Cities Are Losing 36 Million Trees A Year. Here’s Why It Matters and How You Can Stop It” states, “Many studies have found connections between exposure to nature and better mental and physical health.” Trees help by protecting individuals from UV rays. UV rays can be detrimental to an individual’s health, further causing health issues such as skin cancer. Trees can be a beneficiary in many aspects but when in the process of cutting down trees, the balance is disturbed and climate change starts affecting all different types of species, and the human population.

Many should start considering the negative impact climate change has environmentally on earth. During this process, trees should be considered valuable because of their tremendous positive use. People should start focusing on the present usage of resources so the future is not abolished.
