March 14th, also known as Pi Day, is widely celebrated by mathematicians and pie lovers. According to nationaldaycalendar, in 1988, Larry Shaw organized Pi Day at the San Francisco Exploratorium, and people still celebrate Pi Day at the Exploratorium to this day. In the year of 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives officially made March 14th as Pi Day. With this special day, teachers and students have created special ways to celebrate this event. Some ways you can celebrate this special day is by eating pie, participating in pie eating contests, or memorizing as many digits of pi as you can.
