Bob Saget was found dead in his hotel room in Florida on January 9 at the age of 65. His family said last week that he died from head trauma. The chief medical examiner for Orange and Osceola counties said that the manner of death was an accident.

Bob Saget, also famously known as Danny Tanner from the show Full House and the sequel Fuller House, was born on May 17, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Around the age of 9 Bob Saget started making movies with a Super 8 camera. Initially, Saget wanted to go into medicine, but his grades were the only thing stopping him and they eventually worsened when his family moved from Philadelphia to California. He then returned to Philadelphia for his senior year of high school. Saget pursued his love of film at Temple University.   He made a short documentary and the film was well received and earned Saget a Student Academy Award in 1978.

After graduating from Temple, Saget went to a film school at the University of Southern California, but he quit after a couple of days. While staying in Los Angeles, Saget befriended fellow comedians Gary Shandling and Dave Coulier. He ended up marrying attorney Sherri Kramer in 1983. In 1987, Saget joined CBS’s The Morning Program to add a little humor to the show. After six months, Saget was let go from The Morning Program.  His next project would prove to be his greatest success. He played Danny Tanner, a widowed father of three daughters on Full House. Saget continued this frantic pace until Full House was canceled in 1995. After this Saget did stand up comedy and took a few television roles as well.

From 2016 to 2020, Saget reprised his role of Danny Tanner in the reboot Fuller House. He then passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 65.
