On Oct. 24 at Yankee Stadium, the Astros beat the Yankees yet again for the League Championship Series. The two teams both fought their hardest to make it to the game, but the Astros pulled through, winning 6-5 against the New York team. The Astros took early control of the game, ensuring the win and getting big hits with Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman. Early in the game, the Yankees were losing 3-0 but managed to even the score when rookie shortstop Jeremy Peña hit a three-run home run off of Yankees starter Nestor Cortes. The Yankees managed to take a late lead in the sixth inning, leading 5-4. However, due to a fatal error by second baseman Gleyber Torres, the Astros rallied and ended the game 6-5.
