Parks Junior High- a place for positivity. This school should be known as great, smart and kind, not rough, rude, and rowdy. With that said, here are some basic ways to spread positivity and eradicate negativity at Parks.

1) Be nice

Positivity is contagious; when we meet an overly optimistic and positive person, we cannot help to smile and be positive ourselves. We should take advantage of his effect and greet everyone we meet with a warm smile; this would start a chain reaction that would affect the entire staff and panel of students.

2) Be the smarter person

Whenever someone talks highly of anything idiotic, like fighting, we Panthers should always put a stop to it. The best option is to try and stop whatever is about to transpire; or you could instead comment on whatever they are about to do as “lame”. By reminding them of how ignorant their actions are, it might discourage them from doing what they were about to do.

3) Ignore it

If you are one who is too timid or nervous to stand up against negativity, it is okay; the next best thing you can do is to simply ignore it. Ironically, doing nothing can actually accomplish a lot. For example, if one person is being negative, ignore them. If this person sees that their negativity is not having a large effect, they might have some second thoughts about their actions.

4) Report it

If the negative person continues and persists to spread negativity, your best bet is to report it. Find any adult who works at Parks and get their help.

If if you approach negativity with these four methods, you are sure to spread positivity at Parks. GO PANTHERS!
