Over the years, the robots have been improved in several ways. Each robot is developed to help companies who need it the most. A downside to this is that delivery people will lose their jobs due to a lack of need for them. FedEx is starting this project with other major brands such as Walmart, Target, Pizza Hut and AutoZone. Their goal is to understand how delivery robots could help other businesses. Most of these companies did not rise to popularity with robots. However, because of the world’s new technology, things are changing, leading to a demand for better, innovative technology.

FedEx is making their own robot delivery system, which is called the SameDay Bot. They are already doing their testing to see how it will perform in Washington State. SameDay Bot has a sensor that allows the robot to navigate through the neighbor safely to its destination and deliver the package to the right place. It is programmed to travel on the sidewalks and along the sides of roads. SameDay robot is a battery powered robot that can go as fast as 10 miles per hour while traveling along the sidewalk. SameDay robots have a built-in refrigeration system that allow this incredible machine to deliver fresh products. Also, a lot of things can be fit into the robot’s compartment system. However, it is unable to fit extremely large items, such as a bed or a couch.

A lot of delivering companies are building robots like this and this will bring a great change to the future of delivery. This will affect several jobs throughout the world, and these companies will give insight fearful thoughts into our generation; they may believe that, in the future, there will be a lack of jobs due to artificial intelligence.
