 “I love you 3000.” After a heartbreaking exit in Avengers: Endgame, Robert Downey Jr will be saying goodbye to Marvel and will leave his empty suit behind. As he dawns his Iron Man suit one last time in Avengers: Endgame, Robert Downey Jr’s contract with Marvel has ended. As an important figure in the entertainment industry, it is worth looking into his life. Robert Downey Jr. was born on April 4, 1965 in New York City, which explains his dire efforts to save New York during their attack of New York. Robert Downey Jr. started his acting career early on in his lifetime. His first show that he was featured in, as a child, was as a member of Saturday Night Live in the 1980. Although his career faced a short term stop due to drug abuse, he was able to pull through and stop his addiction. He had been introduced to drugs at the early age of eight due to his father and had been addicted to the substance as he entered his time as a young adult. However, his appearance in the movie Less than Zero turned his life around.

            “Until that movie, I took my drugs after work and on the weekends,” Robert explains to news reviewers. “Maybe I’d turn up hungover on the set, but no more so than the stuntman. That changed on Less Than Zero. I was playing this junkie-(bad word removed) guy, and, for me, the role was like the ghost of Christmas future. The character was an exaggeration of myself. Then things changed, and, in some ways, I became an exaggeration of the character. That lasted far longer than it needed to last.”
