Another good book by Gordon Korman. This summer, I read Ungifted. Donovan, a troublemaker, is always playing pranks. This time, one of his pranks goes horribly wrong. He accidentally, but hilariously, destroys a school gym. The superintendent sees him, but doesn’t know who he is. There is a mixup and he accidentally gets sent to a school for gifted kids. He goes along with it, so it isn’t discovered that he destroyed the gym.

At the school, he is having a hard time pretending he’s gifted. One of the teachers was onto him right away. This book was hard to put down and super funny. In the end, Donovan helps out and is good to the gifted kids and they are good to him.

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for middle schoolers. There is a sequel to the book, Supergifted.
