Good things are happening with the Sonic movie.

After the continuous backlash from the fans, the movie’s director, Jeff Fowler, finally has decided to work on Sonic’s design a bit more. And in April, Fowler confirmed that there are going to be changes. As Jeff writes on his Twitter account, “Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear. You aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie#gottafixfast”.

The movie has been delayed from November 8th, 2019, to February 14, 2020. As the Sonic Movie will be delayed for three months, it will be worth it, as executive producer Tim Miller says. To be honest this will probably not be enough time to make substantial changes to the great character, so we can only hope for the best! Sonic The Hedgehog doesn’t deserve the design it had for the movie, just hideous. As a fan of the series, I will try to look forward for the new movie.
