The tragedy of many people’s death in 9/11 still remains in my heart. But it doesn’t mean that there is only tragedy. This is the story of a young man who saved many people from the incident happening in the twin towers. A young man named Welles Crowther was a equity trader in World Trade Center in 2001. Before the 9/11, he joined his father in being a volunteer fire fighter. He went to Boston university and became an equity trader. He moved into an office on the 104th floor in the WTC. When the incident happened, Welles Crowther used wore red bandana so that he wouldn’t breath any ashes. He was carrying a woman on his back and helping a burned woman named Lin Young. He was helped by other survivors and saved 18 people from the burning tower. He used his firefighter training to help him save many lives. Soon. the tower collapsed and Welles Crowther died. He was known for his red bandana and soon people began to call him Man in the Red Bandana. He will always remain in our hearts. This story isn’t about tragedy. It is about real life heroes in this world.
