Comics are usually a combination of drawing, writing, and humor. Sometimes, they could even be relatable. Comics date back to when Benjamin Franklin was around! These types of comic books have a wide variety, from superheroes like Superman or Spider-Man, to newspaper strips such as Calvin and Hobbes or Big Nate. People across the globe read these every day, and some comics can bring back nostalgia to older people.

So, how do you become a cartoonist or join in on the daily funnies? To become one, you must think like one. Generally, students inspired by comics have to get a bachelor’s degree in animation, fine arts, or graphic design. From then on, you can start your journey. Joining in on the daily funnies is quite simple. A few options are to go to the bookstore and find the graphic novel section, or pick up the newspaper and start reading. No matter what, comics have always been a childhood favorite and will stay with us for a long time.
