Procrastinating. A very popular sport. A procrastinator is someone who waits until the last day to do a project or homework. Procrastinators don’t do it once or twice, but it’s a part of their routine. Why do people procrastinate? Some people procrastinate because they can have more free time and just shove it all in a single day. Others, however, wait until they think everything they do is perfect. Procrastinating is usually not healthy, because the amount of stress in a day to complete a one month project will stress the procrastinator. So, how do you stop procrastinating? First, pick out a time to work on the project or homework, then put the list of “Things to do tomorrow” to “Things to do today.” Commit to this and a healthy habit of finishing homework early will form. After a while, notice the difference between when you were procrastinating and when you were responsible. Your grades become all A, or higher than before. You start to become less stressed, happier, and a well rounded person overall. As they say, strike while the iron’s hot!
