Rated by Melissa Gray is about six high school students in a society with the Rating System, a system in which everybody has an overall rating. At the beginning of the book, there is spray paint on the front doors of the high school Maplethorpe where all the main characters: Javi, Noah, Tasmin, Bex, Chase, and Hana, find clues leading to a diner where they all meet. They eventually come up with a plan to help Noah’s family, to help Chase, and to find who spray painted the front door. At the end of the book, they find out that the headmaster organized everything in an attempt to abolish the rating system. Overall, I give the book a 7 out of 10.
