Multiple fires have started across parts of California. Most of them were caused by dry brush, and extremely fast winds. Due to the many health implications, the National Weather Service has issued the first “red flag warning.” The Kincaid Fire has burned 80,000 acres with 30% containment. The Getty Fire has burned 745 acres with 27% containment. The Easy Fire has burned 1,300 acres. A new fire has also started near the Brea Dam, quite close to Parks Jr. High. Voluntary evacuations have started taking place near and in Fullerton. Due to heavy winds, smoke has been blown closer to Fullerton, with many health problems occurring  from it. Because of this, some of the PE classes at Parks have been temporarily canceled. Busses are late and after-school activities have been canceled.
