David Lee

David Lee, Writer

David Lee was born on December 7, 2007 in the city of Los Angeles, California. He lives in a family of four, including himself. He has a brother who uses his “I am the older brother” as an excuse to take advantage of things. Although this was an irritating excuse that is used by his brother, David quickly got used to it and adapted to it at a young age. He started playing the piano at a ripe young age. Although he may not have enjoyed practicing it, he enjoys playing pieces when fully memorized and played. His favorite song that he has memorized is “Summer.” Along with the piano, David played basketball at an early age with his friends. He shortly became tired and bored of shooting a ball through a hoop, so he then moved onto soccer. He had absolutely no idea what to do because his brain was not able to process the information given to him. Just after he thought sports was not his thing, he found swimming. He swam throughout his life, enjoying the aquatic sport as it made him feel free and happy. David has lived by the quote of, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” This quote is by Albert Einstein. David lives by this quote because he believes that everyone has the potential to learn, be educated, and show their intelligence once given the opportunity. Everyone has a special and unique asset that not everyone has.
