Kaylene Hong

Kaylene Hong, Contributor

Kaylene Hong was born on June 12, 2011, the same day the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat entered Game 6 of the NBA Finals. A fun fact about her birthday is that it’s the same day as her parent’s anniversary. She was born in California, but her family is Korean. Kaylene lives with her parents, younger brother, and her younger sister. She had lived in Fullerton for a few years and then moved two times. She now lives in La Habra, and can still attend Parks Jr. High thanks to her grandparents. She loves to perform onstage while dancing or singing. Kaylene also plays volleyball and likes to play games with her friends. When she has some free time, Kaylene loves to read her books until late at night. Her friends mean the world to her, and loves to go shopping and karaoke with them. When she grows older she would like to attend Hanlim High School in Seoul, Korea. She would also love to attend UC Berkeley University. Her goal in life is to become a professional singer or dancer in the future and continue to stay connected with her friends. A quote that inspires her is by Carol Burnett, “When you have a dream, you’ve got to grab it and never let go.”
