Sarah Martell

 Sarah Martell, Contributor

Sarah Martell was born in Fullerton California on December 10, 2007, the same year Apple first announced the iPhone. She was originally going to be born in Mexico, but her parents came to California before her birth. Sarah’s name originated from the biblical wife of Abraham. It is a Hebrew word meaning noblewoman or princess. One thing that Sarah remembers doing was doing a few hours of community service by picking up trash at the beach. Sarah thinks that making sure trash gets picked up is very important, especially at the beach. We don’t want to harm animals since they contribute to our environment. Ever since she was as young as the age of 4, Sarah has loved drawing and painting. She started practicing realism around the age of 10. When she’s not drawing, she can be found video editing or practicing on the flute, although she claims she’s not very good at it. Sarah believes the quote “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” — George Bernhard Shaw, is very true. She believes mistakes pave the way for success and in becoming a greater person.
