Madison Balkus or Maddy, was born on July 14, 2008. Something Maddy will always remember is her parents wanted to name her Madison so her nickname would be the same as her dads. Her dad's name is Matthew but people call him “Matty b.” This nickname was passed down to Maddy because people would call her “Maddy b.” Madison's dog is a girl and her name is Opal. Opal loves to play and take naps. Something really unique about Opal is she is always so cautious about everything. When she first came to Maddy's house, Opal always stayed near Madison’s family. Maddy loves the ocean and loves to dive under big waves. Her favorite beach is Crystal cove beach because there are huge waves and great food. Maddy loves to write and read mystery books she remembers and loves the saying “Many hands make light work,” so she always works together with people and has a smile on her face everyday.
