On Dec. 8, 2022, the Raiders came to Los Angeles thinking it would be an easy game; however, the Rams had other plans. In the first quarter, running back Josh Jacobs ran for a touchdown, giving the Raiders an early 7-0 lead. And just moments later, Raiders placekicker Daniel Carlson made a 52-yard field goal, giving his team an extra three points. Toward the midpoint of the game, the Rams were able to get on the scoreboard with a field goal, but the Raiders continued to hold onto their lead. However, the tide quickly turned in the last quarter. With three minutes left in the game, Rams running back Cam Akers rushed a touchdown, making the score 16-10 with the Raiders having the edge. Finally, with just ten seconds on the clock, Baker Mayfield came out clutch and threw a 23-yard touchdown for the win. With Matt Gay making the field goal, the Rams triumphed with 17 points against the Raiders’ 16.
