Diversity Week at Parks
The week of April 5, 2021-April 9, 2021 is Diversity Week here at Parks. It is an annual event hosted by Leadership. It is to recognize and celebrate different cultures and their differences. There was a lunchtime activity on Monday for on-campus students. Track C students and Track B students got to join the fun via a Padlet and Instagram stories. They will be posting in response to “What makes you Diverse?”
During lunch on Monday in the Theatron, students were able to write what makes them different. The leadership students then put it on a poster board. On Wednesday, they celebrated saying hello in different languages. On Thursday, they played diverse music at lunch.
All week, the Parks Leadership Instagram will have stories about diversity. You can check them out on Instagram @parksjhleadership.
