Odell Beckham Jr. is a professional football player who was born on Nov. 5, 1992, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He grew up in a family of athletes as his mom was a track and field athlete and his father was a former football player. Odell went to Isidore Newman School in New Orleans where he shined brightly as a wide receiver and set the school record for receiving yards in a single season. This earned him many scholarships and he went on to attend Louisiana State University, where he continued to play football and made an immediate impact during his freshman year.

In 2014, he was drafted by the New York Giants as the 12th overall pick and quickly became one of the league’s best wide receivers. He has since earned many achievements,  including three Pro Bowl selections and the 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Off the field, Beckham Jr. is known for his charitable work and has used his platform to raise awareness for various issues. Recently, he was signed by the Baltimore Ravens for a one-year deal for 18 million dollars. Despite his age, Odell is expected to shine on his new team.
