Emily Lee was born on December 5, 2008, the same year Barack Obama won the presidential election, making him the first African American president. She was born in Anaheim and raised in Fullerton with her older and younger sisters. Regarding her education, she attended Laguna Road Elementary School, is currently a Parks Junior High School student, and is now planning to attend Sunny Hills High School. Some of Emily’s hobbies include playing tennis, playing the piano, baking, and hanging out with friends. Although she is not able to do it often, Emily also enjoys traveling to different places, one of her favorite trips being Cancún, Mexico. One of the places she hopes to visit in the future is Greece. In addition, because she has a passion for animals, Emily is aspiring to become a veterinarian when she is older, specifically one that specializes in ophthalmology. A quote she cherishes is “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself,” which was asserted by George Bernard Shaw. Emily always tries to live by this quote because it inspires her to discover her potential and learn from challenges, in order to evolve into the individual she aspires to be.
