Emily Lee, Writer
Emily Lee was born on December 5th, 2008 which was the same year Barack Obama won the presidency. She was raised in America all her life, despite being South Korean. She attended Laguna Road Elementary school and now currently attends Parks Junior High School. Her family consists of her mom, dad, big sister Dana, and little sister Danielle and she enjoys annoying them. A unique fact about her is that she is left handed. Some hobbies Emily enjoys are walking, running, biking, tennis, reading, and playing the piano. An unforgettable moment she experienced was nearly drowning from a floatie. She was casually swimming and when she headed up the surface to get a gasp of air, something was in the way. No matter how hard she tried pushing up, the persistent object did not budge. Panic took over her body and she uselessly flailed in the water. Eventually, she swam away and took the biggest gulp of air she had ever taken.
Moving on, because Emily is a dog lover, she owns a five year old Maltese dog named Cotton. However, things didn't go as planned because instead of getting an affectionate, loving dog, she got a rabid creature that despises her. Cotton is known to be lazy. For example, when going on a walk or hike, this stubborn thing has to be pulled continuously and barks fiercely at every living soul. A quote Emily stands by is “Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever,” because time is too valuable and there is much to be accomplished and done in life.
