Aspen Godbey was born on June 17,2010. A historical event that happened on her birthday( not the same year) was that the Statue of Liberty arrived in New York City. She lives with her mom, dad, and three other siblings in Fullerton, CA. Her sister plays soccer at San Francisco State University and her brother is an EMT who is applying to be a firefighter. When her family is all together, Aspen loves to go on walks with them. Aspen’s family also includes many animals. She has four dogs, two hamsters, a turtle, and thirteen chickens, so twenty pets in total. Aspen is an extreme animal lover. Another one of the things she loves is to play soccer. She has been playing competitive soccer since she was three. All of Aspen's family except her mom has played soccer. She also likes to hangout with friends and go to the mall. Some of her goals in the future are attending college at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and playing soccer for the school. With her college degree, she hopes to become a NICU nurse. A quote that inspires Aspen is,“ There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failures. This quote was from Colin Powell and she loves this quote because it inspires her to keep working hard and never give up even if she fails.
