Julia Chekardzhikova was born on July 1, 2010, the same year the decade saw musical and cultural dominance of dance-pop, electronic dance music, and electropop. Julia lives with her parents, brother, and dog. She grew up in Fullerton, CA while also traveling a lot. Her hobbies consist of dancing, singing, writing, biking, and reading. Dance is her main focus, doing 17+ hours a week at her studio. The time in between that includes being at school, singing, practicing for performances, and going on walks. Her goals for the future are still to be decided as she is choosing between taking up dance and business to open a studio with friends and teaching at said studio, or taking up a career at a dance company. Since she was 8 years old, Julia has always been very invested with her future, thinking about colleges she wants to go to and how to get the experience she needs for a comfortable future. She plans on joining her high school dance program while still going to her studio outside of school. Two quotes Julia refers back to constantly are “If you spend your time chasing butterflies they will fly away. However, if you spend your time building a beautiful garden, then the butterflies will come to you. if not, you still have a beautiful garden to be happy with.” And “you cannot fix your problems with the same mindset you had when they were made.”
