Sara Eldjoundi

Sara Eldjoundi was born on January 27th, 2008, the same year the famous series “Twilight” first aired. When she was born at St.Judes hospital, her parents still didn’t know what to name her. Eventually she was named Sara, meaning princess. Sara’s favorite memory was when her uncle took her to a basketball game, Golden state warriors against the LA Lakers. Her uncle surprised her with third row seats for her birthday, and she could even hear what the players were saying. Ever since then Sara became obsessed with playing basketball, especially with her dad. Another thing Sara enjoys doing is going to the arcade. Her interest in arcades originated two years ago when Sara and her 14 cousins rented a Villa in Cabo San Lucas. They wandered downstairs where they found a game room. Most of their time was spent challenging each other in skee ball, rather than going downstairs to the beach. Sara does everything with her cousins as they grew up on the same street and are all around the same age. Although she loves her family, she almost loves food more. Her favorite snack is popcorn, probably because it reminds her of the theaters. Sara could watch horror movies for the rest of her life, especially in the middle of the night. The only thing that really scares her are roller coasters. Sara was ten years old when she went on the incredicoaster at Disneyland. She remembers the feeling in her stomach on the first drop, and it wasn’t her favorite. However, Sara knows that there is “Nothing to fear but fear itself” (Franklin D. Roosevelt).
