Tesla’s Cybertrucks

Teslas+Cybertrucks

On Nov. 30, 2023, Tesla delivered their first Cybertruck, a concept that had been in development for four years. Elon Musk, the head of the company and creator of the Cybertruck, stated that he developed the vehicle to be a durable car that can withstand bullets, travel through rough environments, and tow up to 11,000 pounds. Furthermore, Tesla’s Cybertruck has a combined horsepower of 834 and an estimated driving range of 340 miles; it is also one of the fastest trucks currently in the world being able to go up to 112 mph. Like other Tesla models, the Cybertruck is a fully electric vehicle and includes features such as autopilot driving.  The current price for the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck ranges from  $81,895 to $101,985 with two models available: the Dual Motor and Beast models. Overall the new Cybertruck has seemed to be a success. Would you buy the Cybertruck?

Patrick Hong, Contributor
Patrick Hong was born on December 6, 2009, the same year that President Barack Obama became the first African American President of the United States of America. He was born in a hospital in Los Angeles and lived there until he was four. He then moved to the OC area where he now lives with his parents, older sister, and older brother. He spends his free time talking with his friends on the phone, watching shows, and spending time with his family. His plans for the future are to get into a good university and be able to travel the world more. A quote that inspired Patrick states, “Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.” - Steve Maraboli. This quote stood out to Patrick because he felt that he resonated with the quote.
