          On the 20th of November, 1947, Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip exchanged their wedding vows and were joined in holy matrimony, staying true to their love for over 70 years. Just 3 days ago, the holy words, till death do us part, were brought to truth.

          On the 10th of June, 1921, Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, was born in Mon Repos, Corfu, The Kingdom of Greece. Then, aged 18, joined the Royal Navy in 1939. This is when he started corresponding with the then-13-year-old Princess Elizabeth. After the war, the Prince begged for the blessing of the King, who obliged his request. Philip and Elizabeth were then joined in holy matrimony on November 20th, 2 years after the war. He had given up his Greek and Danish titles.
