(Warning: Spoilers Ahead!)
“Loki” is a Marvel spinoff show from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that provides a deeper look into the famous villain. The show first debuted on April 9, 2021, and since the first season wrapped, fans have been screaming for a second season. Fans finally got what they asked for on Oct. 5, 2023, when season two dropped exclusively on Disney+.
The second season of the show will have a total of six episodes, with a new episode dropping every Thursday and the finale premiering on Nov. 9, 2023. The second season picks up right after the events of season one when Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, and Sylvie, played by Sophia Di Martino, kill Kang at the End of Time. Now, Loki reunites with Mobius M. Mobius, played by Owen Willson, and Hunter B-15, played by Wunmi Mosaku to save the TVA (Time Variance Authority.) In the first episode, Loki is jumping across different timelines, something that was thought impossible in the TVA. In order to stop it, they must find a way to “prune” Loki and bring him back. While this is happening, the TVA is collapsing and the members have to decide what to do about the branching timelines. The show is still developing, but the overall premise of the show revolves around finding Sylvie, Ravonna Renslayer, and Miss Minutes.
