Fortnite OG Season Brings Back Many

Fortnite+OG+Season+Brings+Back+Many

On Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, Epic Games released an iconic Fortnite season, Fortnite OG, that returned many players to the game. This update took players back to the original map with the older weapons that appeared in seasons one through X. Within each week, upgrades and seasons were either added or removed; this began in the week of Nov. 3 and ended Dec. 2.

As soon as Fortnite OG was released, over 44.7 million people were online, and over 102 million hours were played, one of Fortnite’s biggest records. This was a huge month for them as well as for the players who finally went back to their childhood for a month. With this new campaign and the “Big Bang” Eminem event, millions all around the world came together for a very fun and nostalgic four weeks. As Tfue, a popular gamer, mentioned, “Streaming Fortnite for the first time in six months [right now.]” Although it eventually came to an end, Fortnite says this isn’t the last time and it might make an appearance again in 2024!
